FIGARO's Valentine's Day Love Treat and Early Lenten Offering
Filipinos' love for coffee is very evident with a lot of coffee shops that sprouted in the metro in the recent years. With the boom of the call center industry which is a reasonable market for coffee makers, there is no mall you go to that you can not find a coffee shop. Coffee has become essential nowadays, either to keep you awake or to complete your meal.
Among all those coffee shops, you have one particular favorite you go to. It could be that the ambiance is good or there's a free WIFI, the seats are comfy or the coffee just tastes good.
I do not drink coffee religiously until I worked in a call center set-up, where the schedules are erratic that I work from night/midnight most of the time. Coffee has been my partner since then.
For me, it is just awesome that there is a coffee shop that do not only offer best tasting coffee and bread. That is why I was so happy I got invited to a free food tasting at one of Figaro's branch.
Figaro Coffee Company was established in 1993 by a group of seven friends, whose zeal for coffee was acquired from their travels all over the world.
This passion began as a hobby of brewing, tasting and experimenting with many varieties of coffee from around the globe. It soon grew into a business, with the purpose of sharing the fine art of European coffee culture with the Filipino people.
The first Figaro coffee shop formally opened in November 1993 as a simple kiosk located in Glorietta, one of Manila's premiere malls and has now expanded to over 60 stores nationwide.
Figaro's prides itself in serving coffee made from freshly-roasted beans sourced from all over the Philippines. Our coffee is roasted every week before delivery to all stores to ensure freshness and the perfect cup. In addition, Figaro also serves fine meals and delicious pastries and desserts to go along with the perfect cup of coffee.
With it's unique European-style ambiance and restaurant-style service, Figaro promises to exceed customers' expectations each and every time.

I love sweets! This Cioccolato Morsi Heart Sprinkles is not so sweet though. Just perfect for you not lose appetite if you are going to eat it first before meal.

Chicken Rice Bake, a cup of flavorful chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots, rice in creamy white sauce baked to perfection and topped with mozzarella cheese baste. A complete meal of meat and vegetables baked to perfection.
I can finish up to 3 cups of rice but this one, I am full with just one serving.
Tofu Steak Rice, sumptuous deep-fried Tofu glazed with special sauce, onions, topped with white sesame seeds on steamed rice garnished with parsley.
I only eat fresh tofu. After trying this one, fried tofu has appealed to my palate.

Spagnolo Sardine Pizza, personalized pizza topped with Spanish sardines, green bell pepper, black olives, fresh tomatoes, pizza cheese and mozarella cheese.
Margherita Pizza, personalized pizza topped with fresh basil, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
Everybody seems to love Margherita Pizza!
Aglio Olio, linguini pasta, garlic and olive oil with addition of dried chili flakes, garnished with finely chopped parsley and parmesan cheese.
